Data plane and control plane

MCP and safety · data and control planes

Two planes of an agent’s work. Control plane: commands, meaning your messages and rules. Data plane: everything the agent reads, meaning pages, tickets, documents and server replies. Defence against prompt injection keeps foreign text in the data plane so it never becomes a command.
