Environments · dev, development environment

Dev (the development environment) is the environment shared by the team where code lands after a merge: it checks that the code of different developers builds and works together. The data is test data. Dev can break, but it is fixed quickly because the whole team works on it. It is the first shared test stand after the local environment. Feature stands usually run in parallel with dev.
