Local environment

Environments · local, developer machine

The local environment is a copy of the system on the developer’s own computer. Code is written and tried here right away; breaking things is fine because nobody else sees it. The data is test data or an anonymized copy of production. It is not counted as a test stand: a stand is the team’s shared server, which starts at the next step.
