Ubiquitous language

Specs and architecture · the language of the domain

A shared vocabulary of developers and the business inside one bounded context: the same words are used in conversation, in the spec and in the code. Inside the border each word has one meaning; across it the same word may mean something else. The narrower the language, the more rules can be checked from the text alone, without going through runs.
